DIRECTOR OF MARKETING
This is a full-time, salaried position located onsite in Sarasota, Florida.
About US Eye: US Eye is a physician-led, patient-centric network of eye care practices committed to providing exceptional patient service through premium technology and unrivaled provider expertise. We are one of the nation’s leading multi-specialty physician groups, providing care in ophthalmology, optometry, dermatology, and facial surgery. With 50 clinics and 5 surgery centers, led by 95 providers and more than 1,000 team members system-wide, we deliver world-class care to patients throughout Florida, the Carolinas, and Virginia.
JOB SUMMARY:The Director of US Eye Marketing will be responsible for all public relations and marketing activities for US Eye. Key contributor in the successful boarding of client acquisitions.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and contractual obligations. Follows the principles of the Compliance Program as well as the US Eye Code of Conduct.
  • Establishing and managing annual marketing budgets for the enterprise, by market and practice entity.
  • Copywriting for all collateral, including ads, direct mail pieces, newsletters, etc.
  • Media placement.
  • Collaborate with appropriate vendors on the creation and production of collateral materials, including newspaper and magazine ads, direct mail campaigns, and brochure materials.
  • Traffic analysis, including review of data to evaluate and develop effective marketing strategies.
  • Plan and coordinate promotion and advertising of special projects.
  • Conduct marketing meetings with Operations leadership to discuss/analyze marketing efforts/plans for US Eye as appropriate.
  • Update and coordinate the company and foundation websites.
  • Manage e-marketing and social media campaigns.
  • Presentation of new ad campaign concepts and collateral programs.
  • Oversee marketing efforts for new acquisitions and new providers
  • Report on the ROI of marketing campaigns to the US Eye Leadership. Continually assess campaign performance and optimal spending within each practice.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Director of Marketing carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing staff complaints, and resolving problems.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Requires a bachelor’s degree (preferably in the fields of communications, journalism, advertising and marketing, or business)
  • 4-5 years of experience in marketing and advertising in an agency setting or in-house marketing department.
  • Ability to organize and create an environment to motivate team members.
  • Skilled communicator. Excellent computer skills, including Windows-based applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of health care marketing strategies and practices is a plus.

  • This is a full-time, salaried position located in Sarasota, Florida
