What does a direct mail project manager do?

A Direct Mail Project Manager oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of direct mail marketing campaigns. They coordinate between clients, creative teams, printers, and mailing houses to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications. Their responsibilities also include managing schedules, budgets, and quality control, as well as troubleshooting any issues that arise during the campaign process. Familiarity with project management software (like Asana or Trello), data processing tools, and mailing systems such as USPS regulations is typically required. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills help in managing timelines, vendor relationships, and client expectations.
