Job Summary:

The AM Housekeeping Supervisor at Black Desert Resort is responsible for overseeing the operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas meet the resort’s high standards of cleanliness and presentation. This position reports to the Housekeeping Manager and plays a key role in maintaining the quality and efficiency of the housekeeping staff.

Job Specification:

Location: Onsite at Black Desert Resort
Shift & Schedule: Year-Round / Full Time

Pay Range: $21.00 - $24.50 / hour. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Key responsibilities including but not llimited to:

  • Supervise and coordinate the morning housekeeping staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
  • Conduct inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and order.
  • Address and resolve any issues or complaints from guests promptly and professionally.
  • Provide training and guidance to housekeeping staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Assist with scheduling and shift assignments for the AM housekeeping team.
  • Ensure that all cleaning equipment and supplies are used and stored properly.
  • Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and amenities, placing orders as needed.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department for prompt resolution.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of events and functions as needed.
  • Participate in housekeeping meetings and training sessions to stay updated on cleaning techniques and standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager or Director of Housekeeping.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in housekeeping or a similar role in a hospitality setting, with at least 1 year in a supervisory position.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions.
  • Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including standing for extended periods and lifting heavy items.
  • Proficiency with housekeeping management software and tools.
