Location Name Columbus Corporate Headquarters Responsibilities POSITION OVERVIEW This role is responsible for leading the Financial Reporting function with 5 direct reports. Accountable for effective and efficient execution of critical processes relating to accuracy and completeness of information, compliance with US GAAP and maintaining a strong control environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Independently and proactively manage all finance and accounting aspects related to leases, fixed assets, debt, returns reserve, receivables, corporate accruals, and other general accounting areas.

Manage the monthly financial close process, including overseeing preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements, and related reporting packages. Ownership of the budget and bi-weekly forecast preparation for rent, depreciation, and certain reserves, which includes analysis and explanations of variances and timely identification of risks and opportunities relating to these areas. Direct ownership of accounting for complex areas including leases and fixed assets.

Evaluate specific business transactions for proper accounting treatment and perform research and technical accounting assessments as needed. Training and development for self and direct reports including providing clear/consistent direction on priorities, improving direct report abilities, maintaining moral, and providing growth/development opportunities. Maintaining current accounting policies for the Company including researching current and upcoming accounting guidance.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Accounting 5+ years of experience in Financial Reporting and/or Corporate Accounting. Experience within public accounting a plus. 2+ years management experience CRITICAL SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES Deep knowledge of US GAAP Retail industry experience is a plus Proven understanding of concepts underlying the theory and practice of recording, classifying, examining, and analyzing financial transactions.
