• Conduct virtual counseling sessions with students, assisting them in addressing and managing emotional and mental health challenges.
• Create a safe and welcoming online environment where clients can express their thoughts and feelings without judgment.
• Utilize a solution-focused approach in therapy to evaluate each client’s unique needs and collaboratively set goals for their mental health journey.
• Employ therapeutic techniques and evidence-based methods to assess clients’ conditions and develop personalized treatment plans.

You will primarily work with stable, low-acuity clients—students seeking support for a range of emotional and mental health issues. These include anxiety, depression, stress management, and social-emotional difficulties connected with navigating school life. All clients are pre-screened to ensure that they are ready for therapeutic engagement, which maintains an optimal counseling environment.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.
• An active and independent state license as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPC is mandatory.
• Proficient in making professional evaluations and decisions concerning client treatment planning and implementation.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and empathetic skills are essential to foster trust and rapport with clients.
• A strong level of comfort with technology, including telehealth platforms and electronic documentation systems.

• Prior experience working in educational settings or with school-aged populations is highly desirable.
• Proven track record in providing virtual therapy or counseling services.
