Role: Sr Java Developer
Location: Newport New, VA
Skills:
· 7-10 Years Experience
· Provide software support services to clients using automated solutions including Java, JEE, JSF, JPA,
· Experience with inventory warehousing and logistics a big plus
· C/C++, Oracle, PL/SQL SQLServer, Win/Unix/Linux operating systems, dashboard/cockpit practices, Secure Web Services (SOAP).
· Apply his knowledge of programming, databases, and operating systems to research and provide direction and/or resolution for application, database, or technical problems as identified by clients.
· Test, debug, and correct non-confirming programs and research application, database, and operating system problems. Perform defined tests and document test results for client and baseline projects.
· Prepare estimates and design documents for change requests and will maintain design documents in accordance with ISO standards.
· Prepare and review ticket reports with clients.
· Provide after-hours support on a rotating basis, to address customer issues that are reported after normal business hours.
