HELP WANTED: DIRECT CARE STAFF – ADULT DAY PROGRAM
Are you compassionate, dependable, and looking for a rewarding
career helping others? Our Adult Day Program seeks full-time Direct
Care Staff Members to support adults with developmental and
physical disabilities in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.
Position: Direct Care Staff
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Starting Wage: $21/hour
Location: Henry & Henry Adult Day Program | 2614 Seminary
Avenue Oakland, CA 94605
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct support with personal care, including diaper
changing, feeding, and other activities of daily living.
Facilitate participation in recreational, social, and educational
activities.
Promote independence and support individualized goals.
Ensure a safe, inclusive, and respectful program environment.
Document daily care and observations per program guidelines.
Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated care team.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver’s license and proof of car insurance required.
Ability to lift and assist participants with mobility and transfers.
Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
(training provided).
Reliable, patient, and committed to high-quality care.
Must pass a Livescan background check and meet state requirements.
