Job description

Standard Job Description You will be the Aeronautical Engineer Sr - E3 for the Advanced Materials and Manufacturing for Military Aircraft (AMMM) program which is responsible for delivering innovative airframe solutions. What You Will Be Doing As the Aeronautical Engineer Sr - E3 you will be responsible for applying technical expertise to solve complex aircraft design challenges and drive manufacturable, highperformance airframe structures. Your responsibilities will include: Develop airframe structure designs that meet customer requirements, industry standards, and regulations.

Create preliminary layouts for installations, assemblies, and detailed parts. Conduct design reviews and communicate progress with stakeholders. Coordinate with support organizations such as stress analysis, manufacturing, tooling, and supplychain management to ensure successful implementation.

Support manufacturing operations and resolve technical issues related to aircraft structures. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline such as Mechanical, Aerospace, or Aeronautical Engineering, or high school diploma with equivalent experience in an Engineering role. Experience in CAD systems (e.g. CATIA V5, NX, SolidWorks, CCD etc.) Experience with metallic or composite structural design Desired Skills Familiarity with mod / kit design Familiarity with legacy aircraft programs and legacy drawing interpretation Aerospace design experience with knowledge of configuration management techniques, drafting/drawing conventions, and aerospace specifications and procedures Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Excellent communication, presentation, people and team skills Proven history of strong work habits and a positive attitude Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) C-130 experience Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
