The Claims & Benefits Administrator provides essential administrative support for workrelated and non-workrelated claims and daily benefits administration. By ensuring accurate data entry, timely documentation, and effective information coordination, this role supports the Claims Coordinator and Benefits team in maintaining efficient, compliant, and employeefocused processes.

DAY IN THE LIFE:

  • Complete accurate and timely data entry for WCB, disability, and modified work claims while maintaining organized, confidential claim files
  • Monitor WCB claim timelines, follow up on outstanding documentation, and document all claimrelated communications and updates
  • Verify, process, and reconcile invoices related to WCB claims, ensuring accuracy prior to approval or payment
  • Manage BacktoWork email communications, responding to inquiries promptly and professionally
  • Provide administrative support to the Claims Coordinator and Benefits team, including reporting, documentation preparation, and information coordination

 

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

  • Diploma or degree in a related field is an asset, with 1-3 years of administrative experience preferred in HR, benefits, claims, or disability management; equivalent education and experience will be considered
  • Basic knowledge of WCB processes, including claim reporting, documentation requirements, and timelines
  • Strong computer and documentation skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams), accurate data entry, and realtime notetaking
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customerservice mindset and the ability to remain professional in sensitive situations
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and detailoriented team player able to manage multiple priorities independently while maintaining confidentiality
  • Demonstrated ability to take direction, follow established processes, accept feedback, and work collaboratively with team members.
