Job description

Primary Purpose of Job

Responsible for creating, executing, and managing the Bank’s online & mobile banking products, platforms, vendors and long-term strategic roadmap for achieving digital leadership.


Major Job Accountabilities

  • Serves as product manager for online/mobile banking products and all digital features/capabilities.
  • Responsible for the Bank’s strategic online/mobile strategy and roadmap to achieve digital leadership in banking in Hawaii.
  • Serves as vendor manager for the online/mobile platform partnership, the second largest vendor of the Bank.
  • Works across technology, operations, marketing, analytics, retail, and commercial markets to deliver industry best capabilities, user experience, and performance.
  • Collaborates with marketing to ensure the Bank’s digital brand is elevated and executed and works across all channels to drive digital adoption.
  • Responsible for leading the Bank in UX/UI principles, digital adoption, and utilizes customer and channel insights to drive digital leadership.
  • Drives new products, features, capabilities and partnerships through project prioritization and project management of digital initiatives and represents product and marketing on the Bank’s project prioritization team.


Experience Required

8-10 years of experience:

  • Marketing and Product Management experience with heavy experience in digital banking.


Required Skills or Training

  • Deep understanding of online and mobile technologies, UX/UI principles, and industry best practices.
  • Is a motivational and dynamic thought leader in digital.
  • Experience developing business cases for investments in digital technologies.
  • Experience translating business strategy into executional plans.
  • Experience directly managing large multi-million $ contracts and vendors in the digital space.
