Job Description

California Closets is looking for a Social Media Intern to support paid and organic efforts across channels. This role is an excellent entry into the world of social as it will allow the person to get a variety of hands-on experience in relationship management, channel production, and understanding analytics.

We are looking for a candidate in the Phoenix, AZ or Austin, TX markets. This is a hybrid position with 4 days remote, 1 day on-site.

Responsibilities

  • Content Calendar Management: ensure the timely publication of paid and organic content, trafficking content, and confirming publication across all platforms.
  • Influencer Management: Fielding influencers requests and completing a templated worksheet for local market consideration
  • Community Management: Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and engage with our audience to foster a positive community environment.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor social media metrics, analyze performance data, and generate reports to measure the effectiveness of content and campaigns, making recommendations for improvement.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and technologies, incorporating them into strategies to enhance engagement and reach.
  • Bonus: Content Creation: Ability to create social first content in partnership with their nearest showroom using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Suite, Canva, and native platforms to craft authentic, on-brand content and write post copy.

Compensation - $17 per hour

Qualifications
  • Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency with social media platforms (IG, LinkedIn, FB, TikTok, X) and basic design tools (Canva, Photoshop).
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interest: Passion for storytelling, digital marketing, and the brand's industry.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to gather data and turn it into actionable insights.
