Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Digital Signal Processing Engineer in Orem, UT (Hybrid Remote).
Overview:
Our client is seeking a Senior Digital Signal Processing Engineer to develop advanced radar and digital signal processing algorithms for next-generation sensing systems. This role requires experience in DSP, radar algorithms. We are working directly with the hiring manager on this search assignment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and validate DSP algorithms for detection, RF calibration, parameter estimation, and interference mitigation
* Develop and optimize radar algorithms for real-world applications
* Implement solutions in C++ and CUDA for deployment on target hardware
* Use real-world data to test, validate, and refine algorithm performance
* Collaborate with hardware and application teams to ensure radar system requirements are met
REQUIREMENTS:
* BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related field
* 3-5+ years of product development experience
* C++ development experience within production environments is preferred
* Experience prototyping algorithms using Python and/or MATLAB
* Strong background in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and numerical analysis, including Fourier transforms, digital filters, optimization, linear algebra, and statistical estimation
* Deep knowledge of radar algorithms, including Beamforming; STAP (Space-Time Adaptive Processing); Phased arrays, MIMO, and CFAR
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with FMCW radar systems
* CUDA/GPU acceleration experience
* Experience developing advanced radar algorithms for challenging operational environments

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
