Signal Processing Scientist
Aurora, CO
Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.

ICR has opportunities available for experienced and motivated Signal Processing Scientists.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Research and design novel signal processing / communications algorithms.
  • Develop near-real-time software to implement these algorithms.
  • Perform testing and iterative refinement.
  • Understand customer/operational requirements and develop/modify systems to meet them.
  • Document and communicate highly technical concepts effectively to technical and non-technical audiences in a clear and effective manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance with SSBI and SCI eligibility.
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience.
  • Knowledge of stochastic signal processing and digital communications.
  • Facility with computational linear algebra.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ and Python.
  • Knowledge of Linux and associated development tools.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Good organization, decision making, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of self-initiative and self-motivation with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work effectively in small team settings to solve complex problems.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Five (5) years of experience.
  • Familiarity with fast signal processing algorithms.
  • Understanding of optimization theory.
  • Experience with lower layers of common wireless systems.
  • Experience with software development lifecycle and use of associated tools.
  • Experience with distributed software version control systems and continuous integration, such as Git and Jenkins.
Salary Range: $123,219 - $236,579
