As a Mental Health Counselor at Gotham Enterprises Ltd, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Delivering one-on-one counseling sessions via video chat to adults facing emotional and psychological difficulties, ensuring a safe and empathetic environment for each client.
• Screening potential clients to determine their stability and appropriateness for counseling, ensuring you only engage with adults who present low acuity issues.
• Facilitating clients' expression of thoughts and feelings, helping them gain insights into their challenges and improving their self-awareness.
• Identifying and evaluating various emotional and mental health disorders such as anxiety, grief, depression, and stress, tailoring interventions based on individual needs.
• Formulating and implementing personalized treatment plans that leverage your clinical experience and knowledge, incorporating solution-focused methodologies to foster client progress.
• Maintaining thorough documentation of client progress, employing effective tracking methods that support the achievement of treatment goals and promote client accountability.
• Teaching clients healthy coping strategies and techniques that empower them to manage their mental health both during and after counseling.

The client population you will serve primarily consists of adults experiencing a range of mental health issues. These include but are not limited to anxiety disorders, stress management, grief counseling, and relationship issues. Your role will involve providing empathetic support and evidence-based treatment to foster healing and improve overall well-being.

To be considered for this rewarding position, you will need:

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• An active independent professional license, such as LMFT, LPC, or LCSW, in good standing.
• Proficient computer skills, enabling effective use of our online counseling platform and necessary digital tools.
• Exceptional evaluation and decision-making skills, leading to informed treatment planning and implementation tailored to client needs.
• Strong interpersonal skills characterized by a compassionate demeanor and the ability to establish rapport with clients.

While not mandatory, experience in a remote counseling environment is preferred, as well as familiarity with digital therapeutic modalities. A background in working with diverse populations or specialized training in specific areas of mental health can enhance your application.

The annual salary for this full-time role ranges from USD 90,000 to USD 104,000, depending on hours worked and experience.
