Summary of Role:

The Senior Treasury Manager is responsible for leading the company's financial risk management, liquidity strategy, banking infrastructure, investment oversight, treasury technology initiatives, and executive reporting. This role serves as a key advisor to the VP Treasurer and partners across Finance, Accounting, Tax, Procurement, Legal, IT, and business units to protect earnings, cash flow, liquidity, and shareholder value.

Essential Responsibilities: Financial Risk Management
  • Lead global foreign exchange, commodity, and interest rate hedging programs.
  • Identify, quantify, monitor, and mitigate financial market risks.
  • Develop and execute hedging strategies using approved derivative instruments.
  • Manage hedge performance, effectiveness, compliance, and reporting.
  • Partner with Accounting to support hedge accounting and financial disclosures.
  • Deliver market intelligence, risk analytics, and scenario planning to senior leadership.
Liquidity & Cash Management
  • Oversee global liquidity management
  • Develop cash pooling structure to improve efficiencies, return and intercompany funding arrangements.
  • Ensure sufficient liquidity to support operating, investing, and financing requirements.
  • Drive working capital and cash utilization improvements.
Investment Portfolio Oversight
  • Manage relationships with external investment managers and advisors.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, compliance, risk metrics, and investment guidelines.
  • Recommend portfolio strategies that balance liquidity, safety, and return objectives.
  • Present investment performance and outlook to executive management.
Banking & Counterparty Management
  • Lead global banking strategy and relationship management.
  • Front office - Design and maintain bank account, cash pooling, and treasury operating structures.
  • Conduct bank reviews, fee analyses, and RFP processes.
  • Monitor counterparty exposure and establish appropriate credit limits and controls.
  • Ensure compliance with treasury policies and approved counterparty requirements.
Treasury Systems & Digital Transformation – Front Office
  • Serve as Treasury business lead for treasury workstation implementation and enhancements.
  • Lead integration of treasury processes and data flows into SAP and related financial systems.
  • Define system requirements, reporting needs, controls, automation opportunities, and process improvements.
  • Partner with IT and vendors to optimize treasury operations and data visibility.
Executive Reporting & Governance
  • Prepare monthly treasury reports for executive leadership.
  • Report on liquidity, investments, market risks, hedging programs, and counterparty exposure.
  • Maintain and enhance treasury policies, controls, and governance frameworks.
Strategic Support & Leadership
  • Support the VP Treasurer on strategic initiatives and special projects.
  • Lead cross-functional treasury and finance projects from assessment through implementation.
  • Provide financial modeling, benchmarking, and executive-level analysis.
  • Mentor treasury team members and contribute to organizational development and succession planning.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate treasury, financial risk management, capital markets, or a related finance function.
  • Demonstrated expertise in foreign exchange, commodity, and interest rate risk management.
  • Strong understanding of global liquidity management, cash management, investments, banking structures, and treasury operations.
  • Experience working with Treasury Management Systems (TMS) and SAP or other ERP platforms.
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and external financial institutions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA, CFA, CTP, or other relevant professional certification.
  • Experience supporting multinational treasury operations in a global organization.
  • Experience leading treasury technology implementations and process transformation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of treasury accounting, hedge accounting, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and drive process improvements in complex business environments.
Expected Salary Range

$130,000.00 - $254,000.00
