Position Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Inventory Risk Management Project Manager (PM) to join our team in Fremont, CA. In this individual contributor role, you will be responsible for executing strategies that safeguard our high-velocity hardware manufacturing pipeline by balancing supply availability with financial exposure. You will analyze data, manage day-to-day risk mitigation processes for overstocking and obsolete components, and support global supply, capacity, and utilization tracking within Hyve manufacturing facilities. A core focus of this role is serving as the primary operational bridge between internal planning teams and key hyperscale clients to track and ensure precise stock consumption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Alignment Execution: Manage end-to-end demand consumption validation and tracking. Partner directly with tier-one hyperscale client counterparts to reconcile actual material pull against forecasted pipelines.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate cross-functionally with the supply chain planning team to track material availability, maintain Clear-to-Build (CTB) tracking, and coordinate pull-in/push-out logistics to support manufacturing capacity.
  • Risk & Exposure Analysis: Execute the framework for quantifying financial exposure. Monitor and report on excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory, material liabilities, and aging stock.
  • Variance & Data Tracking: Conduct detailed assessments and reconciliations of material consumption variances across multi-phase, high-value manufacturing runs to ensure data integrity and accountability.
  • Operational Reporting: Compile and analyze inventory health metrics, consumption trajectories, and risk-mitigation data for presentation to internal stakeholders and client teams.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3-5 years of project management or analytical experience in supply chain, inventory management, or hardware manufacturing.
  • Skills: Strong proficiency in data analysis, Excel, ERP systems, and Clear-to-Build (CTB) methodologies.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.

Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $120,000-$140,000 annually.
