Job description

Job Summary: The Director, Digital Sales & Operations will be responsible for leading GBG digital sales strategy, channel performance, profitability, and day-to-day operations across Amazon, Walmart, Target, Zappos, NSW.com, partner eCommerce sites, marketplaces, and drop ship channels. This leader will own the digital operating cadence, channel roadmap, and team accountability required to deliver annual sales and profitability goals.
The ideal candidate is a growth-driven change agent and strategic operator with a visionary approach to driving digital sales, strong digital commerce experience, a track record of driving revenue and margin growth, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams and external partners through both strategy and execution.
Job Responsibilities:
Digital Sales Strategy & Channel Leadership
  • Develop and execute the digital sales strategy aligned to GBG business objectives, annual plans, and channel growth goals.
  • Act as a change agent for GBG digital by challenging current processes, identifying new growth opportunities, and building a more scalable digital operating model.
  • Own digital sales, profitability, forecast, and channel performance across assigned digital channels.
  • Bring a revenue-first and growth-driven mindset to channel strategy, account prioritization, and day-to-day execution.
  • Set channel roadmap, priorities, and operating cadence across Amazon, Walmart, Target, Zappos, NSW.com, marketplaces, and drop ship partners.
  • Lead pricing, promotion, retail media, inventory, and channel priority decisions with input from Merchandising, Sales, Finance, Operations, and Brand partners.

Marketplace, Partner eCommerce & Operations
  • Drive performance across Amazon 1P/3P, Walmart, Target, Zappos, NSW.com, and other marketplace or wholesale eCommerce accounts.
  • Own GBG product performance and execution readiness for partner-owned sites such as Wrangler.com and Dockers.com.
  • Partner with Ecommerce Operations to ensure systems, content, product setup, and launch readiness support digital sales priorities.
  • Build strong relationships with key digital retail, marketplace, and brand partners to support growth and issue resolution.

Analytics, Reporting & Team Leadership
  • Lead weekly and monthly digital business reviews focused on sales, margin, inventory, retail media, pricing, promotions, and execution risks.
  • Use sales, profitability, inventory, and marketplace data to identify risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
  • Lead, coach, and develop digital team members, creating clear ownership, accountability, and follow-through.
  • Ensure strong cross-functional alignment with Merchandising, Sales, Product, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and external partners.

Job Requirements
  • 7+ years of eCommerce, digital commerce, marketplace, account management, operations, or related experience.
  • Experience leading Amazon, marketplace, drop ship, or wholesale eCommerce channels required.
  • Strong understanding of Amazon 1P/3P, Vendor Central, Seller Central, retail media, pricing, promotions, inventory, and marketplace operations.
  • Proven ability to drive sales growth, profitability, and cross-functional execution.
  • Growth-driven change agent with a visionary approach to building digital sales and improving channel performance.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills with experience managing direct reports preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, Ecommerce, or related field preferred.
