As VP, Head of Digital Marketing, you will lead the evolution of Calamos’ digital presence and take a central role on a fast-moving, collaborative team that is reimagining how a premier asset manager engages its clients. This is a high-impact opportunity to own the digital experience from our website to data-driven campaigns and the emerging platforms that will define the next era of the industry. We are looking for a bold, forward-thinking marketer who is energized by the chance to shape the future of digital marketing in asset management.
Primary Responsibilities

  • Digital Property Management: Manage Calamos’ digital properties, including website, intranet, and marketing engagement platforms. Design user experience (UX) and apply optimizations to enhance functionality and user satisfaction.

  • IT Partnership: Collaborate closely with IT teams on marketing tech stack selection, systems integrations and performance. Take ownership of UX design and functionality to ensure seamless user experiences.

  • Campaign Execution and Lead Scoring: Partner with Client Marketing and Data Science partners to implement tools, dashboards and platforms to execute and measure automated, integrated digital marketing campaigns, and trigger campaigns. Leverage a range of strategies to drive specific campaign, and “always on” visibility and engagement across paid and earned strategies, such as advertising and social media, to increase Calamos’ visibility. Develop and implement a lead scoring strategy and lead generation protocol aligned with overall Distribution and Client Marketing goals and strategy.

  • SEO and SEM: Utilize SEO analytics and SEM techniques to increase website traffic and convert leads effectively.

  • Digital Content Development and Deployment: Partner with Content and Product teams to help develop, curate, and deploy content to attract, engage, and retain customers. Ensure content is aligned with the overall digital marketing strategy.

  • Data Analysis and Optimization: Utilize data and analytics to measure engagement across platforms and to inform the development, execution, and measurement of digital marketing initiatives. Continuously optimize campaigns based on performance metrics.

  • Budget Management: Ensure strategic alignment of budget allocations to achieve maximum return on investment (ROI) for digital marketing initiatives.

  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Lead cross-departmental initiatives to integrate digital strategies with overall marketing and business goals. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and maximize impact.

  • Technology Evaluation and Adoption: Evaluate and champion emerging technologies and digital marketing trends. Introduce tools and platforms that provide a competitive edge and enhance digital marketing capabilities.

  • Reporting and Insights: Develop data-driven reports and presentations for senior stakeholders, providing clear and actionable insights to support decision-making.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Marketing or Digital Marketing.

  • 10 + years’ experience in digital marketing with a strong preference of experience within the financial sector.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills required.

  • Must be able to evaluate changing organizational requirements and adjust marketing strategies as appropriate.

  • PC skills in Microsoft Office applications.


Compensation Disclosure

The compensation for this role takes into account various factors, including work location, individual skill set, relevant experience, and other business needs. The estimated base salary range for this position is $175,000 - $225,000. Additionally, this position may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.


Please note that this is the current estimate of the base salary range intended for this role at the time of posting. The base salary range may be adjusted in the future.
