About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Marketing Project Manager to own the execution of our strategic marketing strategy across all channels.

Reporting directly to the CEO you will serve as the operational hub of our marketing function translating strategy into action, coordinating a network of external vendors and agencies, and ensuring every campaign is delivered on time, on budget, and on brand.

The ideal candidate combines strong project management expertise with a solid understanding of modern B2B marketing and demand generation strategies. They are comfortable managing multiple priorities, collaborating with international teams, and driving accountability across stakeholders.

This is a high-autonomy role for a seasoned professional who thrives on accountability. You won't just manage projects; you'll take full ownership of marketing execution and results.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Project Leadership

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing initiatives across multiple channels and regions.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, workflows, and resource allocation to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Manage project priorities and proactively identify and resolve risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies.
  • Facilitate regular project status meetings and provide updates to leadership.

Campaign Management

  • Oversee the execution of integrated marketing campaigns that support lead generation, brand awareness, customer retention, and revenue growth objectives.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure campaigns are delivered effectively and on schedule.
  • Track campaign performance and recommend optimization opportunities.

Content & Brand Management

  • Manage the development and distribution of marketing content, including case studies, webinars, thought leadership, sales collateral, and digital assets.
  • Ensure consistency of messaging, branding, and positioning across all marketing activities.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create compelling content that supports business goals.

Digital Marketing Oversight

  • Coordinate website updates, SEO initiatives, email marketing programs, social media activity, and marketing automation workflows.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to maximize digital marketing performance.
  • Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Event & Webinar Management

  • Lead the planning and execution of trade shows, conferences, webinars, and customer engagement events internationally.
  • Manage event timelines, budgets, vendors, logistics, and post-event reporting.

Marketing Operations & Reporting

  • Establish project management processes, tools, and best practices within the marketing function.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting frameworks to track project progress and marketing performance.
  • Analyze results and provide recommendations to improve effectiveness and ROI.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Sales, Operations, Vendor Management, and Executive Leadership to align marketing initiatives with business priorities.
  • Act as a key liaison between departments to ensure effective communication and project execution.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a project management or marketing operations role.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple external vendors/agencies simultaneously.
  • Hands-on familiarity with the full channel mix: LinkedIn (organic and paid), email marketing platforms (HubSpot), PPC (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads), SEO fundamentals and event management.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience reporting on marketing performance and KPIs (Google Analytics, CRM Reporting).
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort presenting to executive leadership.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to the Chicago area.

Preferred

  • Experience within language solutions, localization, B2B SaaS, or related industries.
  • Knowledge of marketing automation and CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Marketo.
  • Project Management certification (PMP, CAPM, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent).
  • Budget ownership of $250k+ in annual marketing spend
  • Experience reporting directly to C-level leadership or operating in a lean marketing team.
