Position Summary

The Production Associate is responsible for accurately and efficiently preparing, packing, and labeling customer orders or production materials for shipment. This role ensures all items meet company quality standards, comply with packing and labeling requirements, and are handled in accordance with safety regulations so that products arrive in excellent condition.


Key Responsibilities1. Packing & Labeling
  • Assemble and pack items according to standard operating procedures..
  • Apply shipping labels and documentation accurately.
  • Ensure packages are properly sealed and protected to prevent damage in transit.
2. Quality Assurance
  • Inspect products and packaging for defects, damage, or inaccuracies before packing.
  • Verify the correct quantity and type of items are included in each order.
  • Safeguard accuracy by ensuring prescription and shipping labels correspond without discrepancy
  • Report discrepancies or quality issues promptly to a supervisor.
3. Material Handling & Inventory Support
  • Alert production specialist to replenish packing supplies such as boxes, tape, and cushioning materials.
  • Assist with counting, organizing, and maintaining stock as needed.
4. Workplace Organization & Safety
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
  • Follow company safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Report accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions immediately.
  • Work collaboratively with co-workers to maintain efficiency and workflow.
Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Prior warehouse or packing experience is helpful but not required (training provided).
Skills & Abilities:
  • Ability to follow written and verbal English instructions accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
  • Basic proficiency with computer systems and digital tools relevant to daily operations.
Key Essential Functions
  • Must be able to stand for at least 8 hours at a day and up to 10 hours per day during peak periods.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30-50 pounds.
  • Must perform repetitive motions for an entire shift (bending, reaching, lifting, scanning labels, packing boxes).
  • Must be able to work onsite for all scheduled shifts.
  • Must be able to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and moderate noise.
Working Environment
  • Location: On-site
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
  • May require additional availability or flexibility for escalations.
  • Warehouse environment with potential exposure to dust, temperature fluctuations, and loud equipment.
  • PPE is provided and required when applicable.
