Polsinelli has an immediate need for a Multimedia Designer in Atlanta, Nashville, Chicago, Denver or Kansas City.
The Multimedia Designer is responsible for developing compelling visual communications across print, digital, video, animation, and interactive media that support the firm's marketing and business development initiatives. This role balances strong graphic design fundamentals with motion design, video production, and digital storytelling to create engaging content that elevates the Polsinelli brand.
The ideal candidate will be curious, demonstrate a strong team mentality, positive attitude, and an ability to juggle multiple responsibilities while working with multiple team members. Position requires effective written and verbal communication skills with various stakeholders, a high level of attention to detail and understanding/application of firm best practices.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Create motion graphic animations to support short-form videos for social media, web-based interactive design, events, and marketing collateral.
  • Produce and edit multimedia content including videos, podcasts, attorney interviews, thought leadership content, and internal communications.
  • Develop storyboards, concepts, and visual narratives for multimedia and design projects.
  • Design interactive PDFs, PowerPoint presentations, and other digital experiences.
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders and collaborate with marketing team to convey concepts and ideas with rough design layouts.
  • Gather relevant information, and present completed designs to translate the firm's business goals and design briefs into compelling, cohesive visual concepts.
  • Maintain Polsinelli's visual brand with attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Ability to grasp and apply firm brand strategy as competitively differentiating.
  • While not frequently writing copy, understand the essence of the firm brand and appropriate word choice.
  • Design, layout and produce artwork such as graphs, maps, charts, logos, posters, signage, collateral, advertising, and report covers.
  • Photo editing and minor retouching.
  • Create templates as needed for Marketing team to use on their own.
  • Stay abreast of design trends as well as competitor marketing collateral and advertisements.
  • Serves as a brand champion and sees opportunities to educate colleagues and firm staff on the strategic potential of design selection as a tool for communication.
  • Perform related duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • Bachelor's or BFA degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Digital Media, Visual Communications, or related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of professional multimedia design experience in an in-house corporate, agency, post-production studio or professional services environment.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud including: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, and Premiere Pro.
  • Expert knowledge of the Microsoft Suite, especially Word and PowerPoint with a strong understanding of advanced presentation design.
  • Experience with motion graphics and animation.
  • Experience editing video and audio.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS or interactive design is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Ceros & Flipsnack is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Miro is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Vuture is a plus.

The budgeted salary range for this position is $80,000 - $115,000.
