• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the needs of individual clients and their families for effective family therapy interventions.
• Engage regularly in clinical discussions and contribute family-centered perspectives during treatment planning sessions with the multidisciplinary team.
• Provide individual, group, and joint counseling to families, ensuring a seamless blend of therapy techniques tailored to each client's needs.
• Design and implement educational groups focused on substance use, mental health awareness, and strengthening family relationships to enhance client understanding and foster supportive networks.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, which includes progress notes, treatment plans, and evaluative reports to ensure high-quality client care.

• Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance program effectiveness and client satisfaction.

As a Family Therapist at Ouachita Mental Peer Support Clinic, you will primarily serve clients grappling with substance use issues along with their families. The diverse demographic within our patient population, including both adults and children, demands a culturally competent understanding of various backgrounds and experiences. Your ability to engage empathetically and effectively with clients will be crucial to their recovery journey.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• Must hold an active and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Arizona.
• A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, preferably in a clinical or therapeutic setting.
• Strong knowledge of legal and ethical standards within the counseling profession.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills necessary for building rapport with a diverse clientele.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a healthcare team environment.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software and telehealth technologies is essential.

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-focused therapy, or substance abuse counseling is highly desirable.
• Previous experience in a remote counseling setting is an asset.

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience and workload.
