Join Floyd Family Orthodontics

Floyd Family Orthodontics is seeking a compassionate, skilled Orthodontist to join our patient-centered practice on a full-time, four-day-per-week schedule.

You’ll provide comprehensive orthodontic care across our Molalla and Gresham locations while working alongside a collaborative team dedicated to creating healthy, confident smiles in a welcoming, family-oriented environment.

And yes—you’ll also be working with one of our most popular team members, Jaxon, our beloved practice dog, who helps bring comfort, smiles, and plenty of personality to patients and staff alike.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose orthodontic conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide comprehensive orthodontic treatment, including:
    • Traditional braces
    • Clear aligner therapy
    • Retainers
    • Other corrective orthodontic appliances
  • Guide patients through treatment from the initial consultation to successful completion
  • Educate patients and families on treatment options, expectations, and oral health
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
  • Collaborate effectively with clinical and administrative team members
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and all applicable regulatory standards
  • Participate in practice growth initiatives and community outreach opportunities, as desired
QualificationsEducation & Training
  • DDS or DMD from a CODA-accredited dental school
  • Completion of an accredited Orthodontic residency or specialty training program
Licensure
  • Authorization to practice Orthodontics in Oregon
  • Completion of all applicable Oregon licensing and jurisprudence requirements
Professional Skills
  • Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate with a clinical team
  • Commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional development
Preferred Qualifications
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Orthodontics
  • Experience with:
    • Digital orthodontics
    • Clear aligner therapy
    • Modern digital treatment planning tools
  • Passion for contributing to a positive, patient-first practice culture
