KBR is seeking a Senior Digital Modeling Engineer to support Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) efforts for an Intelligence Community Space customer.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Developer for descriptive MBSE models supporting Enterprise/System of Systems (SOS) Architectures
  • Integrate multiple stakeholders across an enterprise-level federated modeling workspace for Mission Engineering and Architecture development
  • Perform analysis of alternative evaluations of mission/SoS architectures using Digital Engineering techniques
  • Usage of common modeling patterns and approaches to support architecture designs

Work Environment:
  • Location: On-site
  • Travel Requirements: Minimal
  • Working Hours: Standard

Required Qualifications:
  • Clearance: Top Secret SCI with Polygraph
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience: Systems Engineering experience with MBSE applications and technology
  • Requirements: Background in, and an understanding of development of enterprise level requirements, architectures, CONOPS and other systems engineering artifacts for the IC/DoD
  • Knowledge: Exemplary knowledge of the System Modeling Language (SysML) and Unified Architecture Framework Profile (UAFP)
  • Certifications: OMG-Certified Systems Modeling Professional certification level 2 or higher; or demonstrated commensurate level of knowledge
  • Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage senior stakeholders

Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience: Experience with executable MBSE models
  • Code: Skilled in object-oriented code development
  • Analysis: Modeling, Simulation and Analysis (MS&A) experience
