Children's Theatre Company (CTC) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Digital Marketing Coordinator. This full-time, benefits-eligible position requires an organized and detail-oriented professional with demonstrated experience planning and executing digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in email marketing, social media, digital advertising, and audience engagement strategies, as well as experience using marketing data and performance metrics to inform decisions and improve results. Applicants should possess strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills; a commitment to continuous learning; and the ability to positively contribute to an anti-racist organization and support efforts to dismantle structural racism in marketing and communications.

Position Summary

Collaborating closely with the Associate Director of Marketing, Senior Manager of Design and Digital, the Education team, and CTC's digital marketing agency, the Digital Marketing Coordinator supports the planning, execution, and optimization of digital marketing campaigns that inspire engagement, deepen patron relationships, and advance CTC's mission. This role is responsible for coordinating paid digital advertising, email marketing, website content updates, and audience outreach efforts while helping ensure campaigns are delivered on time, align with CTC's brand standards, and meet organizational goals.

Essential Functions

Digital Marketing Campaign Coordination

  • Plan and execute paid digital marketing campaigns and email communications supporting productions, subscription tickets, and education initiatives
  • Work closely with CTC's digital marketing agency to implement campaigns across Google, Google Grant, Meta, OTT, programmatic display, and other digital platforms
  • Monitor campaign performance and assist with compiling reports on key metrics, audience engagement, website traffic, and advertising effectiveness
  • Support testing and optimization efforts by assisting with campaign updates, audience targeting adjustments, and creative asset coordination
  • Stay informed on emerging digital marketing trends and platforms and share recommendations with the marketing team

Email Marketing & Patron Communications

  • Design and deploy Marketing and Education department email campaigns, including subscription, single-ticket, Theatre Arts Training, student matinee, and event communications
  • Build and schedule recurring patron communications, including pre-show and post-show emails
  • Assist with quality assurance, testing, and delivery of email campaigns
  • Track email performance and provide reports and recommendations for improving engagement and conversions

Website & Content Support

  • Assist with website content updates, landing page maintenance, and SEO best practices to support audience engagement and conversion goals
  • Coordinate digital content and asset needs for marketing campaigns
  • Support content capture and organization efforts that highlight CTC productions, classes, camps, and educational programming
  • Help ensure digital content remains accurate, current, and aligned with organizational branding

CRM & Audience Data Support

  • Partner with the Tessitura Database Administrator to pull audience lists and support targeted email and marketing campaigns
  • Develop working knowledge of Tessitura and other marketing platforms to assist with list generation, audience segmentation, and campaign execution
  • Maintain audience data and email distribution lists in accordance with established processes and best practices
  • Provide support for patron communication platforms and assist with troubleshooting basic user issues as needed

Department Coordination & Collaboration

  • Maintain and update the shared digital communications calendar to support coordination across Marketing, Education, Development, and other departments
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather campaign information, deadlines, and creative assets
  • Support special projects, events, and marketing initiatives that advance CTC's audience development and engagement goals
  • Participate in department meetings and contribute ideas to strengthen digital marketing efforts and patron engagement

Compensation
The starting salary range for this full-time position is between $51,000 and $58,000 annually.  Benefits include medical, dental and vision insurance; short-term and long-term disability and life insurance; vacation and sick leave; nine paid holidays; and a 403(b) retirement savings plan.

Experience

  • Familiarity with digital marketing platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics (GA4), email marketing platforms, and CRM systems; Tessitura experience preferred.
  • Experience tracking campaign performance and using data to support marketing decisions and continuous improvement.
  • Understanding of digital marketing best practices, including audience segmentation, content marketing, SEO fundamentals, and emerging digital trends.
  • Strong writing, proofreading, and communication skills, with attention to detail and brand consistency.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate effectively with internal and external partners.
