The Specialist, Digital Marketing & Brand supports cross-functional collaboration between Marketing, Sales, and external partners to ensure brand consistency and alignment with business objectives. Key responsibilities include developing high-quality content across digital channels, managing brand messaging, supporting sales enablement initiatives, coordinating vendor and event marketing activities, maintaining digital assets, and leveraging data analytics to measure performance. The role also involves overseeing standard operating procedures (SOPs), handling marketing requests, and ensuring compliance with company policies and security standards.  This role enhances the company’s online presence by creating strategic content, managing brand consistency, and supporting marketing and sales initiatives.

Well qualified candidates for this role will be considered in any area of the US and if there is no local EFW office, they will be allowed to work remotely.

  • Create high-quality content across channels (blogs, social media and website).
  • Communicate internally with Marketing and Sales teams to support sales and lead generation activities.
  • Develop and maintain the brand, consistent brand messaging and visual identity.
  • Support sales enablement by producing collateral, presentations, and training materials.
  • Create training on social media engagement and how-to’s to support SOPs.
  • Work on projects and assignments as part of a large work team for alignment.
  • Coordinate with external vendors/agencies for graphic design or video production as needed.
  • Support event marketing through content creation for tradeshows, webinars, and conferences.
  • Manage SOPs, department processes, and systems.
  • Manage employee marketing requests submitted via the company intranet.
  • Update content on company website and marketing intranet page.
  • Perform digital file maintenance.
  • Generate reports from various sources and distribute to appropriate personnel.
  • Comply with company C-TPAT and TSA security procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Familiarity with project management software.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and charts.
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools and/or graphic design experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with internal teams, management, vendors, and customers.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize workload effectively, managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to work with shifting priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and technologies, with a proactive and self-motivated approach.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Word and PowerPoint, including the ability to create and edit documents and presentations effectively.
  • Ability to adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and efficiency in workflow.
  • Ability to write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to document and communicate processes and guidelines is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Social Media.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems preferred.
  • Basic familiarity with WordPress and with HTML preferred.
  • Must be able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, random drug and/or alcohol tests, and will be subject to a criminal history background check.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Minimum of a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 1-2 years of clerical experience. Experience working in Freight Forwarding or Transportation industry preferred.  However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
