Digital Marketing Manager

770GoodLaw - Norcross

Full-time

Job description

770GoodLaw is hiring a Digital Marketing Manager to own the firm's digital lead-generation engine. When someone is searching for help at 2 a.m. after a crash, we want them to find our firm. You will be the person responsible for making that happen — across Google Business Profiles, Google Local Services Ads, Google Search, and Meta paid social.

This is a hands-on operator role, not a strategy-only or oversight role. You will be in the ad accounts daily, managing budgets, writing specs, and reporting on performance.

What success looks like

We treat marketing as an investment, and we share the math openly with the person running it:

  • Average attorney fee per signed client: approximately $8,000

  • Annual target for marketing-attributable signed clients: 192 (16 per month)

  • Marketing budget: 8% of firm revenue

  • Expected return: $8–$12 in attorney fees within 12 months for every $1 of total compensation

You will be measured on cost per qualified lead, lead-to-client conversion rate, cost per signed client, reporting accuracy, and adoption of AI-assisted workflows.

How we work — please read before applying

We would rather be direct now than have you discover this in month four:

  • Accountability is public. Firm performance numbers are published internally and updated live. We conduct 360-degree peer reviews every month, and every team member — including leadership — is reviewed against our five core values.

  • Outcomes over activity. You will own signed clients, not impressions. If a channel produces attractive metrics but no signed cases, we expect you to recommend ending it, even if it was your idea.

  • AI use is a daily expectation. This is not a future initiative here. You will be asked to demonstrate how you use AI in your work as part of the interview process.

  • Structured evaluation early. Your first 30 days carry no production KPIs, so you can learn the business. Around Day 90, leadership conducts a formal performance review against clearly defined expectations. You will always know where you stand.

  • Influence without direct authority. Two roles you will rely on heavily — the Social Media Manager and our IT/web resource — do not report to this position. Success depends on clear specs, strong working relationships, and follow-through.

  • Clients are treated with respect at all times. Speaking disparagingly about a client is grounds for immediate termination at any level of the firm. Clients are the reason this firm exists.

How this role starts

This position begins as a 90-day paid working interview. This trial period allows both the candidate and 770GoodLaw to determine fit, evaluate performance, and confirm alignment with the role expectations before making a longer-term commitment. Upon successful completion of the 90-day period, the candidate will have the opportunity to transition to a full-time, W-2 employee position, with eligibility for the firm's full benefits package.

If that describes an environment you want to work in, we would like to hear from you.

Compensation:

$60,000 - $95,000 base plus incentives

Responsibilities:
  • Own the firm's digital lead-generation strategy and daily execution across all paid and local channels

  • Drive engagement and growth of the GoodLaw app, including increasing active user rates and app downloads through targeted social media promotion, in-app content strategy, and cross-channel marketing campaigns.

  • Manage Google Business Profiles for every office location, including listings, posts, Q&A, review responses, and local map visibility

  • Plan and manage Meta (Facebook and Instagram) paid campaigns, including audience development, budget allocation, retargeting, creative direction, and A/B testing

  • Manage Google Local Services Ads, including budgets, service areas, lead disputes, and Google Screened compliance

  • Manage Google Search / PPC campaigns with disciplined keyword and negative-keyword management and tight ad-to-landing-page alignment

  • Own conversion rate optimization strategy, writing clear technical specifications for the IT/web resource to execute

  • Pilot, measure, and scale AI and LLM initiatives, including lead-response automation, content assistance, and reporting automation; retire what does not perform

  • Build and maintain a weekly performance dashboard covering spend, leads, conversion, and cost per signed client

  • Manage the media budget across channels and office locations, and hold outside vendors accountable to agreed metrics

  • Set quarterly marketing priorities and lead a weekly working session with the New Client Specialist department to tie campaign performance to signed cases

Qualifications:
  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience managing paid campaigns on Google Ads and Meta for lead generation (e-commerce-only experience is not a fit for this role)

  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage Google Local Services Ads, Google Search campaigns, and Google Business Profiles

  • Track record of reducing cost per lead or cost per acquisition through testing and iteration

  • Able to write a clear technical specification and work effectively with a developer to implement landing page and conversion changes

  • Daily working use of AI tools, with specific examples of workflows you have built that saved measurable time

  • Comfortable working with transparent performance metrics and frequent peer feedback

  • Strong written communication and the ability to move work forward through collaboration rather than direct authority

  • Genuine interest in work that serves people who are injured, frightened, and out of options
