What is a digital dietitian?

A Digital Dietitian is a registered dietitian who uses digital platforms and technology to provide nutrition counseling, education, and support to clients. They may work through telehealth services, mobile apps, or online programs to help individuals achieve their health and wellness goals. Digital dietitians can offer personalized meal plans, track progress remotely, and provide ongoing motivation and guidance, making nutrition support more accessible and convenient for clients.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a digital dietitian?

To thrive as a Digital Dietitian, you need a solid background in nutrition science, a relevant degree, and licensure as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN). Job description

Sibu is a very small business in the dietary supplements and skincare space. We have been in business over 25 years and have stable revenue. We need to replace the person who was managing digital marketing and other responsibilities. We have a very casual work environment and don't spend a lot of time with meetings and unnecessary reporting. We offer 401K and health insurance benefits as well. Salary range: $50k-$70k. Must have experience with the following:

Responsibilities
  • Digital marketing
  • Meta ads
  • Google ads
  • Email marketing (Klaviyo)
  • SMS marketing (Postscript)
  • Copywriting
  • Blog posting
  • Creative development
  • Order processing (Shopify)
  • Profitability and ROAS reporting
  • Minor website management (Shopify)
  • Possibly helping with in-house order fulfillment (usually less than 1 hr per day)
Qualifications
  • Must know how to design, analyze and track Meta and Google ad campaigns
  • TikTok ad campaign experience would be nice but not 100% required
  • UGC/influencer management
  • Minor creative development and copywriting
  • Customer service (inbound calls and emails about orders, products, etc)
  • Some odd jobs on occasion. We are small and nimble but we all wear multiple "hats".
Additional Information

We may have the flexibility to offer some remote work in the future but, for now, this position will require being the front-line person to talk to customers, walk-ins, etc (rare). We do not have a storefront but some local customers do stop in to purchase from time to time. We have a very chill and casual environment. No dress-code. The business is owned and operated by Peter and Dusty McMullin. We are partners and brothers. We own and manage 3 different brands but the majority of the work is for Sibu. We may be able to offer a higher salary for more years of experience, especially in the dietary supplement and/or skincare products arena. See our website: sibu.com.
