Why This Role Matters
Royal Bridge is more than a summer program-it is the beginning of a student's Bethel journey. This internship allows a former participant to invest in future students by helping them build confidence, develop community, and begin college with a strong foundation for success while supporting the growth of the Royal Bridge program.
Position Summary
The Royal Bridge Student Success Intern serves as an ambassador for Bethel University's Royal Bridge program by helping strengthen the community of current, future, and former Royal Bridge students. This position is designed for a former Royal Bridge participant who is passionate about helping other students experience a strong transition into college.
The intern will assist with program planning, student engagement, communications, and administrative support throughout the academic year while helping prepare for the next summer's Royal Bridge program.
Start Date: September 21, 2026
175 hours for the 2026-2027 school year (3-7 hours per week, varying based on program needs). Flexible schedule coordinated with academic commitments
Primary Responsibilities
Student Engagement
  • Maintain regular communication with Royal Bridge alumni throughout the school year.
  • Help build an active Royal Bridge community by planning opportunities for alumni to reconnect.
  • Assist in recruiting Royal Bridge alumni to serve as future student hosts and mentors.
  • Encourage continued engagement with Student Success resources.

Recruitment & Outreach
  • Communicate with prospective Royal Bridge participants and admitted students.
  • Share personal experiences that encourage participation in the program.
  • Assist with recruitment events and admissions collaborations as needed.
  • Help identify creative ways to grow awareness of Royal Bridge.

Communications & Social Media
  • Help manage Royal Bridge social media accounts.
  • Create engaging content highlighting student experiences and program successes.
  • Capture photos, videos, and testimonials.
  • Assist with newsletters and email communication.

Administrative Support
  • Maintain accurate program records and participant information.
  • Organize digital files and resources.
  • Assist with surveys and program assessment.
  • Support other Student Success projects as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Previous participant in Bethel University's Royal Bridge program
  • Current Bethel undergraduate student in good academic standing with no outstanding behavioral concerns
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Organized and dependable
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Interest in event planning, leadership, communications, or student development
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
