About the Digital Advertising Specialist Role
Temporary Part-Time | Up to 29 Hours per Week | Up to 90 Days | Potential Full-Time Opportunity
$35-$48 per hour | In-Office
This is a highly collaborative role on the Hot 8 Yoga marketing team, combining four areas of expertise: digital advertising strategy, audience targeting, ad copy ideation and buildout, and continuous optimization.
The Digital Advertising Specialist works closely with our Senior Marketing Manager and creative team to plan and run the digital advertising campaigns that support Hot 8 Yoga's overall marketing strategy and studio growth goals.
This role manages paid social, paid search, and paid display advertising, including retargeting campaigns in support of key business objectives like Welcome Week sign-ups and membership growth. The best Digital Advertising Specialists are skilled at building and adjusting campaigns with multiple ad campaigns and ad sets with multiple ads within a single platform, and doing so across Meta, Google, and TikTok regularly, across all Hot 8 Yoga locations.
The overall goal of this role is to optimize ad spend and allocation of effort to continuously improve ROI in a way that generates quality leads and trials.
Role Responsibilities
Digital Advertising Strategy
  • Strategize specific digital advertising tactics involving paid social media and/or paid search engine marketing according to the available budget, goals, and industry research.
  • Provide recommendations to the Senior Marketing Manager and internal marketing team regarding execution of the digital advertising game plan.
  • Research Hot 8 Yoga's content assets and customer personas to ensure digital advertising strategy aligns with broader marketing efforts.

Digital Ad Creation and Optimization
  • Develop various types of digital ads for use in social media, search engines (search and display), and other websites and digital advertising media.
  • Write and edit digital ad copy, optimized for each ad platform.
  • Build out various types of paid social media promotions, including boosted posts, traffic ads, and lead ads.
  • Collaborate with the creative team on the production of visual media to be used for digital advertising purposes.
  • Ensure digital ads are integrated within each marketing campaign and conform to Hot 8 Yoga's brand guidelines, and track UGC video live dates, usage rates, and expiring content.
  • Provide direct support to the Senior Marketing Manager and creative team in the production of digital ad campaigns.

Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Analyze data and performance metrics of each digital ad campaign.
  • Collaborate with internal and technical teams to ensure data integration between marketing software tools, platforms, and reporting systems.
  • Create clear reports that provide critical insights into the metrics that matter for digital advertising.

Ideal Skills, Qualities & Values
  • Minimum 5 years of marketing experience managing digital advertising campaigns.
  • Highly proficient in Google Ads and Google Analytics.
  • Highly proficient in the Meta Ads ecosystem.
  • Excellent copywriting and communication skills.
  • Prudent financial sense and resourceful with budgets.
  • Propensity for technology, creative thinking, and inbound marketing theory.
  • Positive attitude and enjoys solving problems.

Position Type & Compensation
This is a temporary, part-time W-2 position for an assignment of up to 90 days, with the potential opportunity to transition to regular full-time employment.
Schedule: Up to 29 hours per week, in-office.
Classification: Nonexempt.
Hourly Pay Range: $35-$48 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
Based on business needs, performance, qualifications, and overall fit, Hot 8 Yoga may consider the employee for a regular full-time position. Conversion to regular full-time employment is not guaranteed.
If offered a regular full-time position, the currently anticipated salary range is $85,000-$100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
