Job description

Powering Performance Marketplaces in Digital Media

QuinStreet is a pioneer in powering decentralized online marketplaces that match searchers and "research and compare" consumers with brands. We run these virtual- and private-label marketplaces in one of the nation's largest media networks.

Our industry leading segmentation and AI-driven matching technologies help consumers find better solutions and brands faster. They allow brands to target and reach in-market customer prospects with pinpoint segment-by-segment accuracy, and to pay only for performance results.

Our campaign-results-driven matching decision engines and optimization algorithms are built from over 20 years and billions of dollars of online media experience.

We believe in:

  • The direct measurability of digital media.
  • Performance marketing. (We pioneered it.)
  • The advantages of technology.

We bring all this together to deliver truly great results for consumers and brands in the world's biggest channel.

Job Category

We're looking for an ambitious, results-driven Digital Sales Executive, to help grow our marketing platform services by selling integrated digital marketing solutions that drive measurable business growth. Our solutions include paid search, paid social, programmatic advertising, SEO, content marketing, landing page optimization, analytics, AI-powered marketing solutions, and proprietary measurement capabilities that help clients understand the true impact of their marketing investments.

We are seeking an experienced consultative sales professional AE who is comfortable selling business outcomes, not just marketing tactics. The ideal candidate understands how digital marketing drives revenue and can build relationships with marketing executives, business owners, and revenue leaders.

This role is ideal for a seasoned sales professional with a foundation in business development, prospecting, or consultative sales who is ready to take on greater ownership of a strategic, outcomes-based sales process. You'll build your own pipeline, sharpen your ability to sell value beyond impressions and clicks, and work directly with business decision-makers - strategy, media, creative, and analytics experts to deliver customized marketing solutions while contributing to a growing organization.

The first year in this role is focused on building your pipeline, developing deep home services and expertise in our digital marketing capabilities, and establishing long-term client relationships. As your book of business grows, you'll benefit from a steady flow of recurring and stacked commission opportunities, creating meaningful long-term earning potential.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and engage potential customers through outbound calling, email, LinkedIn, and other sales channels, targeting marketing and revenue decision-makers in home services and adjacent verticals.
  • Own the sales process from prospecting through close, including discovery, presentations, proposal development, and contract execution - with a focus on positioning digital marketing strategies as a revenue growth solution, not a media buy.
  • Conduct discovery meetings to develop a strong understanding of each prospect's business goals, growth goals, and downstream conversion challenges (lead-to-appointment, lead-to-sale, cost-of-marketing efficiency).
  • Position integrated marketing strategies that improve lead generation, customer acquisition, conversion rates, and overall marketing performance.
  • Build trusted relationships with marketing leaders, business owners and executive stakeholders to identify where proprietary home services intelligence, AI-driven audience targeting, and closed-loop CRM measurement can create measurable value.
  • Collaborate with internal strategy, media, creative, analytics, and operations teams to develop customized proposals and solutions.
  • Present recommendations and business cases that clearly communicate expected outcomes and ROI.
  • Translate full-funnel capabilities (strategy, audience modeling, activation, optimization, revenue analysis) into a clear value proposition tailored to each client's growth objectives.
  • Partner with internal strategy, measurement, and ad operations teams to scope solutions and ensure proposals reflect realistic, defensible performance expectations.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management and activity tracking within CRM systems.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience from close, through onboarding and account handoff.
  • Consistently meet or exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue goals.
  • Continuously develop expertise in AI-driven media, home services conversion trends, and incrementality-based measurement to improve sales effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in B2B sales, digital marketing, advertising, or performance marketing
  • Experience selling one or more digital marketing solutions such as:
    • Paid Search (PPC
    • Paid
    • Programmatic
    • SEO
    • Content Marketing
    • Analytics & Attribution
  • Ability to sell on business outcomes (revenue growth, appointment lift, sales lift, cost-of-marketing efficiency) rather than surface-level media metrics.
  • Comfort discussing AI-driven optimization, audience intelligence, and CRM-connected measurement at a business-impact level (deep technical expertise not required, but the ability to translate it into client value is essential).
  • Strong prospecting and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging prospects through multiple communication channels.
  • Ability to learn and communicate complex, data-driven products, and value propositions.
  • Strong curiosity and discovery skills with the ability to understand customer needs, growth goals, and marketing measurement gaps.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized with strong time management and follow-through.
  • Competitive, self-motivated, and driven to achieve results.
  • Coachable with a growth mindset and willingness to embrace feedback.
  • Experience using Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar sales tools is a plus.
  • Home services industry experience is a plus.
  • Proven ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
The expected salary range for this position is $80,000 USD to $100,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company's compensation practices. The salary may be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. The position is also eligible to receive performance bonus or commission and equity in the form of restricted stock units. This position is eligible to participate in the Company's standard employee benefits programs, which currently include health care benefits; (2) retirement benefits; (3) the amount of paid days off (paid sick leave, parental leave, paid time off, or vacation benefits); (4) any other tax-reportable benefits.
