Kentucky Educational Television, (KET) has the following full-time position opening in Lexington, Kentucky:
Web and Digital Content Strategist
Used by more than two million people each week, KET is Kentucky's only statewide media organization, and broadcasts into 8 states and 10 media markets, along with providing live and on-demand streaming services. In addition to offering high-quality PBS programming, KET annually produces hundreds of hours of award-winning local productions and creates nationally recognized educational resources.
This is a unique opportunity to work with an outstanding, respected, and trusted public media team, and to support a wide variety of public affairs and general productions, including Kentucky's only nightly statewide news program, six locally produced series, and ongoing special programs.
The individual selected for this role will shape and execute KET's web content experience across digital platforms to support audience engagement, discoverability and agency marketing priorities.

Our ideal Candidate will:
Plan, publish and maintain accessible, engaging web and digital content aligned with brand standards and audience needs across digital properties.
Serve as a WordPress content strategist and publisher, creating and updating pages, layouts and content components across agency sites.
Apply UX, accessibility (WCAG 2.1), SEO and information architecture best practices to improve user-facing clarity, navigation and discoverability.
Collaborate with internal teams to translate marketing, programming, education and promotional priorities into effective digital content.
Support digital storytelling by integrating video, multimedia and platform-specific content across web properties and related channels.
Participate in site audits, content reviews and UX assessments across KET.org and other digital properties.
Support project planning and coordination using tools such as Monday.com and Microsoft applications.
Contribute to and support digital promotion and social media efforts across platforms including websites, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn and emerging or relevant channels, as needed.
Stay informed on digital trends, tools and workflows, including opportunities to improve efficiency and organization through AI.
Utilize Google Analytics and other data sources to understand content performance, make recommendations and develop supporting reports.
Assist with broader digital content projects and other Marketing functions as needed.
Coordinate with other managers and members of the Marketing Division to plan and develop various agency communications, special projects, and initiatives as necessary based on Marketing priorities.
Successful applicants will have the following minimum qualifications, skills, and experience:
Bachelor's degree in related field plus a minimum of two years of experience in managing web content and digital platforms or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is preferred.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience publishing and managing digital content on CMS platforms (specifically WordPress) and digital properties.
Working knowledge of UX principles, accessibility standards, SEO fundamentals and digital content best practices.
Experience using analytics and performance data, including tools such as Google Analytics, to inform content decisions.
Experience using project management tools such as Monday.com and Microsoft applications.
Collaborative, adaptable and curious approach to work.
Ability to work independently, as part of a team and across departments.
Professional dress required.
Must be available on a flexible schedule including occasional evenings and weekends.
