We're Hiring: Billing & Coding Specialist (Hospital Claims Analyst)
Dallas, TX (ONSITE)
$60, 000-$80, 000/year + Bonus (up to $15-20K!)
Looking for your next opportunity in hospital billing, coding, and claims resolution? This is a high-paying, research-intensive role with incredible perks -perfect for an experienced professional who loves digging into complex claims and maximizing reimbursements.
Position Details
  • Salary: $60, 000-80, 000/year (above Dallas market average!)
  • Bonus Eligible: Up to $15-20K annually
  • Hours: Start between 7: 00-8: 30 AM, 8.5-hour workdays
  • Dress Code: Business casual
  • Perks: $12/day lunch stipend
  • Benefits: Health, Dental, 401(k) after 6 months with 4% match
  • Interview Process: One-step onsite: short multiple-choice assessment →meet with Hiring Director
Ideal Candidate
We're looking for an analytical, detail-oriented expert who can independently manage complex hospital claims. The ideal candidate has:
  • 5-10 years of hospital claims, UB-04 billing, denials, and appeals experience
  • Strong understanding of hospital revenue cycle management
  • Ability to "dig deep"into aged accounts and identify the best recovery pathways
  • Experience drafting strong medical appeals
  • Excellent communication skills with providers & insurers
  • Ability to interpret payer contracts, reimbursement policies, and coding (CPT, ICD, modifiers)
  • Comfort working in a research-heavy role focused on older claims
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and collect on denied hospital UB-04 claims with accuracy & efficiency
  • Draft detailed, persuasive medical appeals to maximize recoveries
  • Investigate aged claims and determine optimal strategies for resolution
  • Communicate with payers and healthcare providers to expedite outcomes
  • Analyze claims, coding, and payer rules to identify discrepancies and opportunities
