Rochester West, part of the Eden Senior Care Network, a Skilled Nursing Facility, is seeking a Certified Dietary Manager to join our team of excellent resident care!

Position: Certified Dietary Manager (Full Time)

Schedule: Monday to Friday ((Flexible on workdays if necessary); On-call support as needed and occasional leadership coverage during holidays

The successful candidate for the role of Dietary Manager will be a talented and motivated with compassion and a desire to provide the best nutritious meals for our residents.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain nutritious menus for residents with an understanding of clinical aspects related to food in the Skilled Nursing environment
  • Manage staff in the kitchen environment
  • Schedule staff for proper service to residents in a timely fashion
  • Monitor and maintain kitchen inventory supplies as needed
  • Oversee and ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas

Note: The role requires a working manager; the scheduled routine includes cooking shifts at least three times per week.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) required
  • Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience in a long-term care (LTC) kitchen setting preferred
  • Customer service-oriented
  • Able to communicate well in both verbal and written forms
  • Committed to interacting professionally and with care toward residents, families, and other staff
