Job description

Summary

Under the direction of the Nutrition Services leadership, the Clinical Nutritional Dietitian Manager (CNM) oversees the operations and performance of the health system's clinical registered dietitians and services combining leadership, management, and clinical expertise to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care across diverse populations. Provides direct management and oversight of the clinical registered dietitian nutrition services for the health system including inpatients, outpatients, clinics, and PPG outpatient settings. Supports strategic planning, business plan initiatives, financial budgets, and productivity. Provides direction for clinical nutrition supervisors, recruitment, onboarding, and training efforts, while assigning responsibilities, monitoring performance, and offering ongoing guidance to support professional growth and a collaborative team environment.

Evaluates supervisor performance in alignment with departmental goals, implementing target action plans for improvement, and KPI's for inpatient, outpatient, malnutrition, and cost per unit of service for all areas. Actively participates in quality improvement initiatives, staff development for supervisors, and partners with interdisciplinary leadership to develop, update, and implement policies, procedures, and best practices.

Education

Must have a Bachelor's degree in Dietetics; and have completed an Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics accredited program & internship. Licensure/Certification

Must be a Registered Dietitian, licensed dietitian in the state of Indiana, Serv Safe Certified, registered with the commission of dietetics registration.

Experience

Must have supervisory experience in an acute inpatient & outpatient healthcare system.
