Job description

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate individual to join our dietary team at the Heritage Pointe of Warren. The Dietary Staff Member is responsible for assisting in the preparation, serving, and cleanup of meals in accordance with facility guidelines and residents' dietary needs.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve meals and snacks according to the menu and dietary requirements
  • Ensure proper portion control and food safety procedures are followed
  • Deliver and retrieve food trays in a timely and courteous manner
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, dining, and storage areas
  • Assist with dishwashing and sanitizing kitchen equipment
  • Follow all food handling and sanitation procedures according to local health department guidelines
  • Interact with residents and staff in a professional and friendly manner

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or healthcare is a plus
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Must pass background check and health screening requirements
