Are you a skilled Diesel Technician looking for an excited opportunity to showcase your expertise? We are seeking a dedicated professional who thrives on solving complex mechanical challenges and is passionate about maintaining the performance and reliability of diesel-powered vehicles and machinery.


What you'll be doing

Responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered vehicles and machinery. The role requires a strong understanding of diesel engines systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, and proficiency with diagnostic tools.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic tests on diesel engines and related systems to identify issues.
  • Conduct repairs and routine maintenance on engines and other vehicles components.
  • Conduct field visits for emergency repairs or breakdowns.
  • Perform regular preventative maintenance tasks. Execute tire service tasks, ensuring proper installation and maintenance.
  • Operate heavy equipment safely while performing repairs or maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain detailed records of service repairs and parts inventory.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service requests.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working in the shop or field.
Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge in Electrical, Hydraulic, and Mechanical diagnostics and repairs.
  • Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in diesel engine repair.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools
  • Knowledge of Aftertreatment systems.
  • Familiarity with industrial equipment and heavy machinery operation.
  • Proficient with diagnostic software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong troubleshooting skills related to electrical systems in diesel vehicles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and good communication skills.
  • ASE Certifications are a plus but not required.
