Job description

We are seeking skilled and dedicated Commercial Truck Technicians to join our team! The ideal candidate will have experience servicing various types of medium duty commercial vehicles and possess a strong mechanical knowledge base.

 

Responsibilities

  • Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
  • Diagnoses cause of any malfunction and performs repair.
  • Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts and estimates.
  • Saves and tags parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by the customer.
  • Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
  • Communicates with service advisor/dispatcher immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
  • Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
  • Road tests vehicles when required.

 

Requirements

  • Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle diagnostics and vehicle maintenance.
  • Must have medium and /or heavy duty diesel truck experience in all or one: Isuzu, Hino, Fuso, or Ford.
  • Dealership Service experience preferred.
  • ASE certifications preferred.
  • Full time work schedule.
  • Valid Driver License and clean driving record.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background investigation and drug screen.
