Diesel Technician / MechanicDiesel Technician / Mechanic - Join the leader in the compact construction equipment industry.Bobcat ofis well respected in our area, and we are currently searching for a Diesel Technician to join our team. Our Diesel Technicians playa key rolein our customer relations and service representation. We are looking for a candidate who has a passion for helping our customers with a can-do attitude exceeding ourcustomer'sexpectations.Diesel Technician$28.00-$38.00 DOE Plus Efficiency BonusMonday -Friday (7am-4pm)

Essential Functions:
  • Conducting daily equipment and preventative maintenance inspections
  • Diagnosing and repairing all major systems on compact equipment, with emphasis on the Bobcat line
  • Performing system rebuilds and overhauls
  • Welding
  • Work effectively with all levels of the company -- Parts, Service, Sales, Rental
  • Performing anyadditionaltasks assigned by the Supervisor
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years' experience inheavyand orequipment service operations-skid steers,excavators,etc....
  • Strong mechanical background including excellent skills indiagnostics,diesel mechanics, hydraulics, electrical.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, organized, energetic, and capable of staying cool under pressure from multiple ongoing projects,computer skills.
Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee isfrequentlyexposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanicalpartsand vibration.The employee is occasionally exposed to various extreme conditions as this position works indoors and outdoors.The noise level in the work environment can be loud.Physical Requirements
  • Be able to effectively communicate with customers
  • This position iscontinually active, requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching,laying,crawling,and climbing all day.
  • Employee butfrequentlylift and/or move items over 50lbs
  • Many movementsrequiredto perform this job require a degree of strain on muscles, joints, and tendons in both your arms, chest, shoulders and back.
  • Specific vision requirements required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depthperceptionand ability to adjust focus.
