 Diesel Mechanic | $33-40+ hr DOE | Full Benefits | San Leandro, CA  


We're looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our Oakland / San Leandro -based fleet service team.  If you're a pro with diesel and gas vehicles who wants to work for a stable, high-paying operation we want to talk. 


 Schedule:    Monday through Friday  - 5am-1:30 pm  shift 


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests to determine vehicle/equipment condition.
  • Complete preventive maintenance schedules and inspections to keep equipment available for use.
  • Correct vehicle deficiencies by repairing or replacing various components and systems.
  • Conduct test drives to verify vehicle performance, adjusting controls and systems as necessary.
  • Comply with federal and state vehicle requirements.
  • Keep detailed records of services and repairs.
  • Manage shop equipment, including troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and parts.
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
  • Be prepared for field inspections and repairs in various weather conditions.
