Job description

A Mechanical professional specializing in diesel repair and maintenance, responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicle systems including diesel trucks, heavy machinery, and passenger cars to ensure optimal performance and safety. This role involves working independently during standard day shifts on a mixed fleet of vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diesel and vehicle preventive maintenance tasks
  • Conduct engine diagnostics and repair on multiple vehicle types
  • Repair and maintain brake, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Replace vehicle parts as needed for optimal operation
  • Conduct safety inspections to ensure vehicle compliance
  • Perform welding and fabrication related to vehicle repairs

Required Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in automotive repair
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Proficient in engine diagnostics and repair
  • Knowledgeable in brake system repair and electrical troubleshooting
  • Skilled in welding and hydraulic systems maintenance
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and effective communication abilities

Preferred Qualifications
