We specialize in diesel engine repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics for heavy-duty trucks. We are looking to expand our team with a skilled and reliable Diesel Mechanic who is passionate about working on commercial trucks and delivering high-quality repairs.
Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines, as well as a strong understanding of heavy-duty truck systems and components. You will be responsible for performing routine inspections, identifying mechanical issues, and carrying out repairs to keep our clients’ trucks in top working condition.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and other truck systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks.
  • Inspect and troubleshoot electrical systems, air systems, and hydraulics.
  • Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems and ensure accurate repairs.
  • Maintain detailed records of services performed, parts used, and time spent on repairs.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
  • Communicate with customers to explain repairs and offer preventative maintenance advice.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely repairs and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, truck systems, and repair procedures.
  • Experience with diagnostic tools and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license and CDL (preferred, but not required).
  • Thorough understanding of DOT inspections and CMV requirements.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding conditions.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • ASE Certification (or equivalent) preferred but not required.
