Job description

MasterTech is on the search for experienced Diesel Mechanics in the Waco TX area.

Mechanics will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of a diverse line of heavy equipment in a shop and field service environment.

Compensation:
  • $25.00 - $40.00/hour+ based on experience, training, certifications, etc.
  • Comprehensive benefits plan. Company pays 100% of employee premiums. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid time off, etc.
  • 401K with matching contributions.
  • Boot and tool allowance.
  • Company service vehicle and gas card available for field service openings.
Shift:
  • Day shift, roughly 7AM - 4PM, (Monday to Friday). Overtime available.
Key Qualifications:
  • 3 or more years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic, or completion of a Diesel Technology/Mechanic program.
  • Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Proficient with diagnostic scanning tools.
  • Welding experience is preferred.
  • Working knowledge on construction, earth moving, forestry, mining, landscaping, etc., equipment is preferred.
