Invite a friend Back to job search Job Description Job Summary Are you an experienced parts professional who enjoys helping customers find the right parts, solving inventory challenges, and supporting a fast-paced service operation. We are seeking a detail-oriented Parts Specialist with a background in industrial, mechanical, automotive or compressor parts to support our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who understands parts identification, inventory management, customer service, and technical parts research.

Essential Job Functions What You'll Do: Provide exceptional customer service while selling parts through the phone, email, online inquiries, and walk-in customers. Process customer orders, quotes, and service department parts requests accurately and efficiently.

Coordinate shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions to ensure timely fulfillment of customer and technician needs. Support field service technicians by replenishing truck stock inventories and ensuring critical parts availability. Process branch-to-branch parts transfers.

Maintain organization of parts and workflow by following inventory control procedures. Resolve customer and internal parts-related issues with urgency and professionalism. Invoice completed parts orders and maintain accurate records within company business systems.

Stay current on air compressor and related industrial equipment technologies and replacement parts. Support the sales and service departments. Assist with warehouse operations, including stocking shelves, loading and unloading shipments, preparing shipments, operating material-handling equipment, and other duties as assigned.

What Makes You Successful: Preferred industry experience: air compressors, industrial equipment, diesel engines, construction equipment, heavy equipment, truck/trailer parts, automotive parts, hydraulic systems, mechanical parts. Experience and Skills Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (including physical and work environment) Required Skills: Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of equipment components and parts systems Basic math skills including pricing, percentages, sales tax, and order calculations Ability to work in a warehouse and non-climate controlled environment Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to safely drive a forklift, or willingness to become certified Must wear appropriate PPE Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday Preferred Skills: Experience and working knowledge of business enterprise systems (FieldServio, SAP, etc.) Experience reading schematics and service documentation Previous experience in an industrial, equipment, mechanical or technical parts environment Minimum Job Qualifications (education, work experience, licenses/certifications) High School Diploma or G.E.D. 1-2 years of experience in parts sales, parts counter, inventory control, warehouse, or parts support Why Join Us.
