Diesel Technician Assistant –

The Diesel Technician Assistant supports experienced diesel technician with the inspection, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of diesel-powered vehicles. This position is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, dependable, and interested in developing a career as a diesel technician.

Responsibilities include preparing tools and parts for repairs, assisting with vehicle inspections, performing basic maintenance services, helping remove and install components, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and properly disposing of fluids and materials. The assistant may also move vehicles, retrieve parts, clean components, document completed work, and help technicians follow repair orders and manufacturer procedures, and work independently on tasks.

The Diesel Technician Assistant must follow all dealership safety policies, properly use tools and equipment, protect customer vehicles, and complete assigned work accurately and efficiently.
