Job description

Compensation: Up to $32/hr. Depending on Experience

Required Skills/Knowledge:
  • Self-motivated and able to think outside the box for solutions.
  • Tool Maker i.e., dies, jigs, fixtures and gauges from raw stock and purchased items.
  • Diagnosing faults and repair damaged tooling. Performing regrinding of DMLS and Lapping plates. Work with maintenance to minimize downtime of machine repairs.
  • Operating Manual and computer-controlled (CNC) machines (Lathes/Mills/Surface-Blanchard Grinders to achieve precise dimensions.
  • Inspecting machined parts and tools using Precision Metrology instruments to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Identifying issues with existing tools and developing solutions for modification or improvement.
  • Ability to work with all areas in the manufacturing process
  • Shift: 1st (7:00-3:15) / OT when available - Not Mandatory
