Security Officer – Weekend & Evening Schedule (Full-Time)

Location: Red Diamond | Moody, AL
Schedule:
  • Thursday & Friday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
  • Saturday & Sunday: 12:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Hours: Full-Time (40 hours/week)

What You’ll Do:

As a Security Officer, you’ll play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure facility by:

  • Monitoring access to the property and controlling incoming and outgoing traffic
  • Performing routine patrols and inspecting doors, windows, and gates for security
  • Monitoring security cameras and reporting suspicious activity
  • Watching for and reporting safety hazards
  • Checking incoming and outgoing trucks and ensuring proper sealing procedures
  • Notifying management of any security or loss prevention concerns
  • Announcing visitors and deliveries to appropriate personnel
  • Supporting Quality Assurance to ensure compliance with SQF security standards
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the guard post
  • Preserving order and enforcing company security policies
  • Performing other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • One (1) year of security experience preferred (military experience accepted)
  • Good communication and basic computer skills
  • Ability to read and write at a high school graduate level
  • Strong judgment and decision-making skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations professionally
