Schedule: M-F 5:15 am - 10:00 pm; 8/10 hour shifts - rotating Saturdays required (Must be flexible to work between those hours)
Duration: 13 Weeks

Job Summary:
Baycreek Dialysis at Rochester General Hospital is seeking an experienced Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) to join their ambulatory care team in Webster, NY. The RN will play a critical role in providing high-quality hemodialysis treatments to patients with chronic kidney disease. The ideal candidate will have prior dialysis experience, be flexible with scheduling, and capable of running a 4-patient POD independently using Fresenius machines.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver direct patient care and dialysis treatment in an outpatient setting
  • Operate and manage Fresenius dialysis machines, including setup and disinfection
  • Run and monitor a 4-patient dialysis POD with minimal supervision
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
  • Document treatment details and patient responses accurately in medical records
  • Maintain infection control standards and safety protocols
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
  • Float to nearby dialysis locations as needed
  • Maintain flexibility to work 8- or 10-hour shifts across the span of 5:15 AM – 10:00 PM
  • Participate in rotating Saturday schedules
Requirements:
  • Licensure: Active Registered Nurse license in New York (NY)
  • Experience: Prior dialysis nursing experience is required
  • Certifications: BLS certification (current)
  • Strong understanding of hemodialysis processes and patient monitoring
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to varying schedules and environments
