Overview
Beebe Healthcare is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for our Dialysis Department to provide safe, high-quality care for patients undergoing dialysis treatment. The Dialysis RN utilizes advanced clinical knowledge, technical expertise, and sound judgment to deliver comprehensive and compassionate renal care. This role ensures all dialysis procedures are performed safely, effectively, and in alignment with professional standards, departmental protocols, and the nurse's defined scope of practice and competence.

Responsibilities
  • The Dialysis RN is familiar the various types of Renal diseases and their treatment.
  • The RN Requires knowledge of the dialysis delivery system, water treatment system, to include daily monitoring, cleaning, and disinfecting of machines.
  • The RN will be required to take call after hours and weekends.
  • The RN is accountable to foster a work environment that focuses on safety, supply management, and supporting a positive professional milieu among co-workers and peers.
  • The RN will collaborate with the attending Nephrologists to plan and coordinate dialysis for all patients identified as needing acute dialysis including chronic ESRD patients and new acute starts.
  • The dialysis RN will be required to perform 1:1 dialysis treatments at the bedside as indicated, including the ICU.
Qualifications
  • Possesses adequate skills and knowledge to provide care to the adult and geriatric renal patient.
  • Previous acute and chronic dialysis experience preferred.
Credentials
  • RN - Registered Nurse
  • BLS - Basic Life Saving certification
    NIH - Stroke Certification
  • Education
    • Graduate of an accredited nursing school
