As a vital member of this energetic team, you will play a key role in developing tailored health plans for our veterans, nurturing supportive relationships and environments, and reconnecting them with their communities. This mission aligns with the Veterans Health Administration's (VHA) goal to honor America's Veterans by delivering outstanding healthcare that enhances their health and quality of life.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Standard work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM; rotating on-call duties approximately every six weeks.
  • Oversee all activities related to the Diagnostic Imaging Service.
  • Perform interpretations on various Diagnostic Imaging modalities, including MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Interventional Radiology, or Nuclear Medicine.
  • Establish modality-specific protocols.
  • Collaborate with ordering providers.
  • Review orders and set imaging protocols.
  • Assist in the review of Fee Basis Consults.
  • Conduct non-invasive procedures outside of interventional radiology.
  • Supervise and educate residents.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology.
  • Experience as a general radiologist, particularly in body imaging and nuclear medicine.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen; non-citizen applicants may be considered if no suitable U.S. Citizen is found.
  • Possess a current, unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.
